Leadership team

Founding co-directors Drs. Nicole Werner and Richard Holden are joined by seven faculty Executive Council members to collectively perform strategic and operational governance of the Center. Center members have expertise in health systems engineering, applied health science, randomized controlled trials, digital health and technology-based interventions, wearable, technologies, human-centered and participatory design, family caregiving and care networks, clinical epidemiology, chronic disease and dementia care, psychosocial stress and wellness, neurophysiology, exercise and cardiovascular physiology, developmental disabilities, cognitive-motor development, healthy aging, health equity and social determinants of health, and social psychology and behavior science. They have received funding from multiple institutes of the National Institutes of Health, Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, National Science Foundation, and other federal funders.
